Industrial

We’ve all seen this style in restaurants and magazines, but at home it can be softened just a touch. Of course, just as the name states – the origins of this style are more factory-esque and use elements of machines, natural building materials and a good dose of black or unfinished metal.

The Industrial style can definitely feel a bit more masculine than the other styles as it uses a lot of metal, rustic wood, and leather, however, integrate some level of softness with a neutral colour palette and the use of salvaged and secondhand objects which instantly can give the room some soul and character. Don’t be too hung up on everything being in the same tone and material - part of the Industrial charm is that its functional as well as aesthetic.
