Packaging and Recycling

At Angela Reed, we are committed to creating a better future for our planet. Our goal is to ensure our products arrive with you as sustainably and responsibly as possible. Sometimes you may think that we have used packaging that is too big/too much for the product. We have done this intentionally to ensure that your item gets to you safely and without damage but, rest assured, that all of it can be recycled with domestic recycling. Read on to find out more...

Cardboard Boxes & Tape.

Made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved cardboard, our boxes are made in Europe and printed in the UK.

The tape used to secure your box is also 100% paper and can be recycled.

The ink used on both boxes and tape is Vegetable or Soy based.

These can be recycled with your domestic recycling.

Shredded Cardboard

We shred our own cardboard waste to create an environmentally friendly packing material. Occasionally you might find the odd staple or similar left in, but we do try and remove most! We have used this shredded cardboard to good effect at home on our compost heap! But as we cannot guarantee that it won’t be sellotape free, if you don’t want to re-use it yourself, it can be recycled.

These can be recycled with your domestic recycling.

Bubble Wrap

Bubble wrap is 100% recyclable but will not always be accepted with your domestic recycling. We therefore try and avoid using it as much as possible, but sometimes your lovely AR item is best transported inside bubble wrap. We therefore reuse the bubble wrap from our suppliers first, so that it is not single use.

Bubble wrap can be recycled with domestic recycling if yours take carrier bags. If not, it can be recycled at large supermarkets or your local recycling centre.
